I often watch the sunrise from Griffith Observatory, and one of the things I love the most about the view is the hills and mountains in the distance. As the sun comes up the light highlights the different landscapes and creates the feeling of layers. “Sunrise Layer Cake” has an added layer of coral clouds and yellow sky. It’s like someone sliced open the scenery and revealed all the goodness inside! Which is your favorite layer?

14" x 14" image on 18" x 18" paper. Limited edition of only 10 at this size.
28" x 28" image on 32" x 32" paper. Limited edition of only 5 at this size.
Unframed prints for this piece will be cut to the exact paper size listed above.
Framed prints will have the final measurement of the paper size listed above, which leaves 1-2" of white paper around the image. Each piece is mounted, set back in the frame with a spacer, and placed under plexiglass.

This piece is processed on Hahnenuehle Photo Rag Ultrasmooth 305 GSM paper. This is an archival/museum quality paper made from 100% cotton. This is a unique, thick paper with a completely smooth, matte surface.
