The crack draws the eye upward toward the fanned-out crown of fronds. The wide bottom of the tree and fanned top create an hourglass shape, and the crack is like the sand that runs through.

27” x 36” image on 32” x 42” paper. Limited edition of only 5 at this size
42” x 56” image on 46” x 60” paper. Limited edition of only 3 at this size.
 
Unframed prints for this piece will be cut to the exact paper size listed above. 
 
Framed prints will have the final measurement of the paper size listed above, which leaves 1-2" of white paper around the image. Each piece is mounted, set back in the frame with a spacer, and placed under plexiglass.

This piece is processed on Hahnenuehle Photo Rag Ultrasmooth 305 GSM paper. This is an archival/museum quality paper made from 100% cotton. This is a unique, thick paper with a completely smooth, matte surface.
